Once upon a time, a group of curious and playful humans said yes to community
and creativity and that's where our story began...

This June 4th - 7th, DuckDuckRoar brings back our summer gathering,
only an hour east of San Diego, and you're invited to step straight into the storybook.

For three days and nights, we co-create a renegade, community-built event rooted in Burning Man principles: radical inclusion, participation, self-expression, self-reliance, gifting, and communal care. Everyone who comes is part of what makes the magic real.

This theme is about bringing the storybook to life. Think back to your favorite stories of the ages, here you can channel your inner child and write your own story. It can be about wonder and mischief. Or about remembering how to play. Or about ritual, imagination, and letting yourself get a little lost in the fairytale.

• High quality sound carrying intentional DJ journeys across multiple stages
• Live music & bands weaving through day & night
• Yoga, acro yoga, & movement to wake the body and calm the nervous system
• Workshops and experiences exploring creativity, embodiment, and connection
• Tea lounges, art galleries, cuddle puddles, and cozy corners
• Interactive art and immersive themed environments built by the community
• A healing sanctuary for massages, bodywork, reiki, and more
• A weekend with some of the most welcoming and electrifying humans you'll ever meet

🌿 Who This Is For 🌿

At DuckDuckRoar, we only take a couple things seriously: how we treat each other, how we treat our bodies, how we treat the Earth, and the quality and curation of the entertainment. The rest is a lot of silliness, giggles, surprises, and play. Building a community based on these principles has created an incredible collective of high quality humans, who are the reason our events are so special.

This campout is for people who love music, art, wellness, and immersive environments that feel intentional and alive. For those who want to participate, not just consume. For those who lead with curiosity over judgement and believe play can be meaningful, healing can be joyful, and community can be transformative.

Guests are expected to exercise radical self-reliance and come fully prepared for a weekend off-the-grid. This is a renegade, pack-in + pack-out event. This is not a commercial festival.

This may not be for you if you're looking for a highly commercial, hands-off, "show up and be entertained" experience. This is not an event for those with no desire to meaningfully contribute or for those who believe others should be responsible for cleaning up for them. DuckDuckRoar works because everyone who comes helps shape the fairytale world we're in together through active participation, communal engagement, and intention.

DuckDuckRoar is kept small by design. Pack-in, pack-out.

Capacity is highly limited and this event will sell out.

🌞 Location Details 🌞

This gathering is being hosted on a large private property between near Jacumba. To protect the owner's privacy, the exact address and directions will be sent a few days before the event to ticket holders. 

Port-o-potties will be provided and showers may be taken in The Foam Tub. Shade is limited.

Consent is key in everything we do - in movement, conversation, touch, art, and play. We practice clear communication, respect boundaries, and look out for one another. DuckDuckRoar is a community built on mutual care, responsibility, and trust. This is not a place to abuse substances - this is a place to be conscious about how you interact and grow and play with intention.
